About the Strongest Arcobeleno : Reborn!

Hitman Reborn Volume 01.jpgThe Reborn! story revolves around a boy named Tsunayoshi "Tsuna" Sawada, who is chosen to become the Vongola Family's boss due to him being the great-great-great-great grandson of the first Vongola boss, who had moved to Japan from Italy during his time. He is told by Reborn that he will become the tenth (Italian decimo) Vongola boss. Also, the other candidates for the position of the head of the Vongola Family have died. For these reasons, Tsuna is the only remaining heir. As such, Timoteo a.k.a. "Vongola IX", the current head of the family, sends Reborn, an infant hitman from Italy, to train Tsuna. Tsuna then unwillingly undergoes training from Reborn. Reborn's main method of teaching Tsuna is the "Dying Will Bullet", which will make the person be "reborn" with a stronger self intent on fulfilling his dying will. Through his experiences, the initially clumsy and underachieving Tsuna unconsciously becomes stronger and more confident, which ultimately makes him better suited as the Vongola Family's boss despite continuing to reject his Mafia inheritance. He also starts making several friendships such as his crush Kyoko Sasagawa.
Tsuna goes through many predicaments in his progress of becoming the Vongola boss including fighting against escaped Mafia convicts posing as Kokuyo Junior High students. Later, The Varia, Vongola assassin squad, claim the right for their boss, Xanxus to be the true Vongola boss, and start a competition to decide it. To defeat the Varia, Reborn recruits most of Tsuna's schoolmates to become the Vongola guardians: Hayato Gokudera, a dynamite expert who wishes to be his right-hand man, Takeshi Yamamoto, a baseball player who thinks the Mafia is a game, Ryohei Sasagawa, the energetic captain of the school boxing club, and Kyoya Hibari, the deadly head prefect. Lambo, a weak infant assassin who came to kill Reborn, and Chrome Dokuro, a girl who has a mental and physical link with the criminal Mukuro Rokudo, joins them as well. Later, after defeating the Varia, Tsuna and his friends are transported to the future where they must face the Millefiore Family, who are annihilating the Vongola. They also find that all the Arcobaleno are dead except for Reborn from the past. As Tsuna and the Vongola Guardians from his time fight the Millefiore they learn that Shoichi Irie, a comrade of Tsuna's future self, was the one who sent them to the future as the future Tsuna said they were the only ones who can defeat the Millefiore leader Byakuran. It is later revealed that Byakuran has gained knowledge from parallel worlds and that he wants to obtain all the Mafia rings in order to obtain a power similar to omniscience.
After defeating Byakuran, Tsuna and company return to the present where they learn that Tsuna is to undergo the inheritance ceremony to officially become the 10th boss of the Vongola Family. However, the ceremony is attacked by the Shimon Family, who have sworn revenge on Vongola Primo for supposedly betraying the first Shimon boss. Using the power of the Shimon rings, they have destroyed the Vongola Rings, left Yamamoto hospitalised and kidnapped Chrome. However, a man named Talbot reconstructs the Vongola Rings into the Vongola Gear, and Tsuna and the remaining guardians go to Shimon's hideout where they must face the Shimon family in battles with their pride on the line. In addition, whoever loses in either side will be taken away by Vindice into prison forever. Each battle won or lost, they will receive a key. While the various battles take place it is revealed that Daemon Spade, a member of the first generation Vongola boss's family, is the one who kidnapped Chrome and has a dark agenda in the battle between these rival families.

About The Guardian of Lighting : Lambo

LamboPair.pngPersonality
Lambo is a 5-year-old Italian assassin affiliated with the Bovino Family. He comes to Japan to kill Reborn, so he can prove that he is worthy of becoming his own family's boss. He first appears on Tsunayoshi Sawada's window and tries to kill Reborn. However, he is a complete crybaby, and is no match for Reborn. His future dream is to rule the world. While being taken care of by Tsuna, Lambo becomes very appreciative of his mother, Nana. Lambo dresses in a cow suit complete with a tail, and has a huge afro with horns on the sides of his head which gives him the appearance of a bison. He possesses the Ten-Year Bazooka, which switches the target with their own self from ten years later for five minutes. Every time Lambo loses his cool, he usually say "Gotta... Stay... Calm...", then he uses it on himself, switching with his 15-year-old self. In this form, he switches his cow suit for a casual suit and cow-print shirt.[2]
Although Adult Lambo is shown to be handsome, he remains a crybaby, and is often heard saying things that imply his future involves cleaning toilets. He also begins many sentences with "Yare yare" (loosely translated as "Oh my!"; "Oh gosh!" or "My oh my" in Viz's translation), and often has one eye closed.[3] Due to the unstable nature of the past affecting the future, Adult Lambo will only know of certain events after the adjustment in the past. At one point, he does not know of the Vongola Rings, but does during the tournament.[4] When Adult Lambo uses the Ten-Year Bazooka, he transforms into his 25-year-old self. This version of Lambo is seen as having much more discipline, strength and intelligence than of his past selves, even being capable of almost easily defeating Levi a than during the tournament in the 5-minute effects of the Ten-Year Bazooka.[5]

Abilities

The 5 year old Lambo is typically seen toting weapons like machine guns and bazookas. In his 5 year old form his only notable ability is his Electric Skin (電撃皮膚?, In Italian "Cuoio Elettrico") which allows electricity to harmlessly pass through his body.[4] In the future although still in his younger form Lambo is capable of activating the Vongola box which takes the form of a bull that Lambo can ride on. His weapon is Lampo's Shield, body armor that can give out a huge electrical burst called Corna Fulmine. In the Shimon arc, his ring is rebuilt into the Vongola Helmet which, in its Cambio Forma, becomes full body armor with powerful horns.
In his 15 year old form he still possesses Electric Skin. However he has another ability called Thunder Set in which he summons lightning and charges it through his body. Thunder Set is followed by another technique called Electrico Cornata (電撃角?) which charges lighting through Lambo's horns and causes severe shock to whoever the attack connects with. However it rarely works as it is short range and easy to dodge.
The 25 year old Lambo invents the Perfect Electric Skin in which no form of electricity can do him harm. He also created the Electrico Reverse which allows him to take electricity passing through him and gathers into his hand. His final ability is an enhanced version of Electrico Cornata in which he can use the electricity in his horns and give it the shape of a blade which makes up for some of its short range.

About The Guardian of Cloud : Hibari Kyoya

Kyoyahibari1.pngPersonality
Leader of Namimori Middle School's Discipline Committee of Prefects, who are actually all delinquents, Hibari is known for using his status to enforce his own order throughout all of Namimori Town. Despite the students' and other residents' fear of him, they respect and rely on him since his presence acts as a deterrent to other forms of trouble.[4] Having great pride in his school, even using its anthem as his ringtone, Hibari is especially protective of it and dislikes it when the "discipline" in Namimori is disrupted.[5] The only thing greater than his school pride is his own self pride, opting to ignore the damage inflicted on the school building just for a chance to fight Mukuro Rokudo, whom defeated him before, once more.[6] He dislikes crowds, preferring to be alone, and often says "I'll bite you to death"(kamikorosu) to anyone in his way. He is very confident in his abilities but since he cares little about the events surrounding the other characters, he only involves himself when there is a worthy opponent to fight.[7] Though he has a preference for strong opponents, taking a special interest in the Arcobaleno baby, Reborn, he has no qualms in beating down those he deem weak, whom he calls "herbivores".[8] These traits make him an optimal candidate for the Vongola's Cloud Guardian, who is one who protects the family from outside opposition while remaining a standalone force.[9] His future self embodies this as he is stated to be the Vongola X's strongest guardian yet his allegiance remains a mystery to his enemies.[10][11] His present self eventually comes to terms with his role but dislikes it when others associate him with Tsuna's group.

[edit]Weapons and abilities

Throughout the series, Hibari has displayed amazing feats of speed, reflexes, and strength. He is ranked as the strongest Namimori student by the young statistician, Futa, and is also remarked to have an unlimited potential for growth by the Chiavarone's Mafia boss, Dino.[6] His primary weapons are a pair of collapsible steel tonfas which have several hidden compartments containing chains and different types of spikes.[12] After becoming a Vongola Guardian, he acquires the "Vongola Cloud Ring", a special high level ring that helps in manifesting his cloud wave energy into purple flames which possess propagationcharacteristics. Hibari possesses strong amounts of wave energy, so much so that when his future self uses normal rings, they shatter shortly after. Future Hibari has also acquired special boxes which release flame covered tonfas or hedgehogs when activated by his rings.[11] Using his flame's characteristics, the hedgehogs can multiply, expand its spikes, or grow into a huge spiked sphere that can either damage everything it touches or encase people within an airtight space.[13]
When Hibari uses his Vongola Ring with his Vongola Box, it releases a hedgehog he later names "Roll". When in its Cambio Forma state, Roll transforms into the "Alaude Handcuffs".[14] Hibari is able to trap his opponents by multiplying the amount and size of the handcuffs until they become physical restraints. The handcuffs and chains can then tighten until his opponent is squeezed to death.[15] After his Vongola Ring is shattered, he acquires its upgraded form, the Vongola Gear's "Bracelet of the Clouds". When he uses the bracelet to summon Roll and activates its Cambio Forma state, Hibari's uniform and tonfas are altered. It also makes it possible for him to still materialize the Alaude Handcuffs as well.[16]

About The Guardian of Mist : Mukuro Rokudo

Personality

Mukuro is often seen with a playful smile and seems apathetic to the suffering of others. Appearing as the series' first antagonist, Mukuro is not averse to disposing of those who get in his way, and is not easily intimidated, usually speaking to others in a very direct and arrogant manner.[7][8] Prior to his first appearance, he, along with Ken Joshima and Chikusa Kakimoto, is mentioned to have been locked up in a high security Italian prison, which is reserved for the most dangerous of Mafia criminals, who have even committed crimes against the Mafia itself.[9] He cares little for others, and simply considers people to be "toys" he can sacrifice in order to get to what he wants.[10] However, despite claiming this, he seems to tolerate both Ken and Chikusa, and even protects them, as well as sacrifice himself for them, when need be, though does not do so in front of them.[11] To keep his identity hidden, Mukuro periodically controls several people, most notably Lancia, whom he uses as a "fake Mukuro".[12][13]
Mukuro is implied to have a strong dislike for the entire Mafia underground, due in part to the experimentations he suffered as a child at the hands of the Estraneo Mafia family. When Mukuro killed his captors, he offered Chikusa and Ken, who were also victims of experimentation, a chance to join him in his quest to destroy the world.[14] However, not only does he want to take revenge on the Mafia by destroying it, he also wants to cleanse the world of its filth by invoking universal suffering through a world war.[15] Even after becoming the Vongola's Mist Guardian, Mukuro still claims to no longer be part of the Mafia, having been exiled from it, and continues to view the organization with great contempt.[8][9]

[edit]Weapons and abilities

Known as someone who has driven both the Mafia and police into dangerous and desperate of situations, Mukuro is a deadly opponent.[16] Though Mukuro's main weapon is a trident, and is capable of using combative skills, he is first and foremost a master of illusions, thus he is not easily deceived by illusions that are cast by others. His abilities lie in his "Six Paths of Rebirth(六道輪廻 Rokudō rinne?), six different skills which he claims has been carved into his memories by having had his body go through all six paths to Hades.[10] When using his skills, a Japanese numeral, corresponding to the realm he has entered, appears in his right eye. The skills granted from the individual paths varies from enhancing his physical and mind-controlling abilities, as well as his power of his illusions, to enabling him to control and summon animals.[17][18]
Mukuro also possesses the Estraneo Family's Possession Bullet, a forbidden bullet which enables a person to possess the body of another person when the possessor is shot with it. With this, Mukuro is able to possess and control the body of anyone that he has cut with his trident. He can possess several bodies simultaneously, and he is also still able to enter the Six Realms, granting him the ability to use a different skill for each body.

About The Guardian of Sun : Sasagawa Ryohei

Ryohei headshot.jpg

Personality

Ryohei is the older brother of the Tsuna's love interest, Kyoko.[1] He is a boxing-obsessed student who often prefers to fight his opponents head on and sees any disadvantage as a chance to improve his fighting skills.[1] He is always hiding the truth of what he is doing from Kyoko due to an incident that happened when they were still in primary school: some high school students who did not like Ryohei used Kyoko to lure him into a trap, which resulted in the scar on his left temple. Though Kyoko feels responsible, he was not dissuaded and continued to fight.
Every time he sees Tsuna and his friends doing something strange, he gets fired up and always wants to be a part of it, though appears to be unaware that it is Mafia-related. Due to Ryohei's enthusiasm, he often rushes into things without fully evaluating the situation, which often ends in his humiliation. He can get flustered at times, however, as shown when he sees a picture of his adult self and Hana Kurokawa together in the future. He also has a short memory and forgets many important details, something his adult self solved by writing memo's. He often uses the word "extreme".

[edit]Abilities

Ryohei is an excellent boxer who possesses greater strength than the average human. His boxing training resulted in his proficiency in hand-to-hand combat, and ability to take and give a huge amount of physical punishment. Even the Dying Will Shot, which increases a person's strength by removing the body's limiters, has no effect on him since he always lives "to the extreme." His body's potential strength is exemplified during his training with the Arcobaleno Colonnello, who told him that his naturally strong muscles and his superior cells are at its best after his body is rested, thus Ryohei only uses his left fist in order to keep his right in perfect condition. Colonnello also shoots him with a spiritually condensed bullet to unlock his potential, which enables him to unleash "Maximum Cannon", a blow strong enough to break boulders.[2]
In the future, Ryohei has greatly improved in his abilities, learning Lussuria's footwork techniques to move at great speed,[3] and using it to upgrade his Maximum Cannon into "Maximum Ingram", which deals multiple blows. His Sun Dying Will Flame, which contains "activation" characteristics, can increase the rate of recovery in his own skin cells, and can also be used to overload other box weapons. He also carries a special box that releases a kangaroo named "Kangaryū" (漢我流 lit. "my way of honor"?), but only uses it for support since he relies on his own strength. The kangaroo generates boxing gloves that multiply his healing capabilities,[4] and a pair of boots that grants him the ability to fly.[5] When young Ryohei replaces his older self, he is given the Sun Vongola Box Weapon, The Knuckle of Maximum Break, which hyper activates his nerves and muscles making him much stronger and faster. However, this power is overwhelming on his body so he can only use it for three minutes.[6] When his Vongola Ring is destroyed by the Shimon family, it is replaced with the Vongola Bangle which, in its Cambio Forma mode, removes the three minute time limit and also converts damage received from enemies into flame energy which can be used in a powerful attack.

About The Guardian of Rain : Takeshi Yamamoto

Personality

Rarely seen angry or without a smile, Yamamoto has a warm and friendly personality and stops any arguments that occurs between his comrades.[2][3] He is popular among his classmates and loves to play baseball to the point of attempting suicide when he is unable to play.[4] Because of baseball, Yamamoto holds his physical health in high regard and focuses on protecting his body in battle. However, as the series progresses, he decides not to focus on protecting his body so he can protect his friends using all of his strength. He hates to lose and is ridden with guilt and regret upon defeat.[5][6]
Yamamoto remains calm during life-or-death struggles.[7] In addition, he is a rapid learner and understands a situation better than anyone.[8][9] This leads Reborn to claim he is a "born hitman".[7] However, Yamamoto is oblivious to the fact that he and his friends are mafiosi, believing that they are playing a game and that Reborn's weapons are toys.[10] He is also optimistic to the point of naïvetè; although many of the opponents he meets during the series attempt to kill him, Yamamoto searches for a way to defeat them without mortal injury, such as using the back of his blade or not dealing a killing blow, and attempts to save his opponents as they are about to die.[11] Even after accepting his role as Tsuna's Rain Guardian and the Vongola's swordsman, he continues to balance his life between baseball and swordsmanship,[12] only devoting himself to swordsmanship when he needs to protect his friends.[6]

[edit]Weapons and abilities

Due to his baseball training, Yamamoto possesses a strong body and the best reflexes and stamina of all the Vongola, giving him a natural advantage.[13] He is able to dodge bullets shot at close-range and from a distance.[10] Yamamoto originally uses a bat he receives from Reborn. When swung over 300 kilometres per hour (190 mph), the bat changes into a katana.[14] After training under his father, Yamamoto receives "Shigure Kintoki(時雨金時 Shower in Late Autumn, Golden Moment?), a shinai that changes into a katana while using the "Shigure Soen Ryu(時雨蒼燕流 Shigure Sōen Ryu?, lit. "Shower in Late Autumn, Blue Swallow Style").[15] His training in the series' alternate future allows him to create an affinity between the Shigure Kintoki and his Rain Flame, something his adult self could not accomplish.[16][17] Yamamoto then learns to fuse his swallow box weapon, called "Kojirō(小次郎?) or the "Rondine di Pioggia" (Italian: Swallow of the Rain), with the Shigure Kintoki. This, along with the three short swords his Akita Inu Vongola box weapon "Jirō(次郎?) carries on its back, creates the quadruple irregular blade "Asari Ugetsu(朝利雨月?). The three short swords can be used for aerial combat, ranged attacks, flying or propulsion.[6] Kojirō is also capable of creating heavy rainfall.[18]
Yamamoto utilizes the Shigure Soen Ryu he learned from his father. Because the style will be passed on to only the worthy students, the forms are taught once and the student is expected to memorize.[8] The students are then able to create a form in addition to those they learned, signifying the student's true worthiness to succeed the style.[11] Because of the nature of the Shigure Soen Ryu, weaker branches deteriorate and other branches disappear because there is no worthy successor. This leads Yamamoto to believe the style is flawless and invincible. Yamamoto was taught eight forms: four defensive and four offensive.[19] He then creates another four: two offensive,[11][20] one involving his Kojirō box weapon[12] and one that combines all the forms.[21] He also uses Squalo's attack "Attacco di Squalo" (Italian: Attack of the Shark), which causes a moment of paralysis after a strong sword swing. When combined with a Rain Flame's attribute of tranquility, the attack causes full body paralysis. He later gains the Vongola Gear Rain Necklace, which in its Cambio Form gives him two swords, utilising his both his box weapons to create a 12th Shigure Soen Ryu technique designed to counter illusions.

About The Guardian of storm : Gokudera Hayato

HayatoGokudera.jpg

When he was younger, he was a talented pianist. However, he soon decided to join the Mafia after his mother's death. His father is also reportedly a member of a Mafia family. Unfortunately, no one wanted to accept him into their family; the fact that he was an oriental half-breed lessened his chances of finding a Mafia family to take him in.To become stronger, he sought advice from Dr.Shamal , who, at the time, was working for his family. Gokudera seemed to have looked up to Shamal who taught him how to use dynamite
He and Bianchi are actually half siblings, by their father. Gokudera's mother was a woman with whom his father had an affair. She was a very talented pianist, whom their father fell in love with at first sight. Not long after, they became involved and the woman bore a child. However, in the mafia, illegitimate children are not tolerated, and everyone was told that Gokudera was also from Bianchi's mother. His real mother was killed after driving off a cliff on her way to see her son. It slid off the road at an impossible location. It's been said that there weren't even tire marks. Suicide was considered, but she had been looking forward to that day and had even brought a present for the young Gokudera. Gokudera himself was unaware of what had happened until he was eight and fled the mansion the day following the revelation. However, it was then said that the reason Gokudera's mother slid off the cliff at an impossible place was because the accident had been deliberately caused by one of Gokudera's father's organization members. In Chapter 282, however, it turned out that Gokudera's mother was already sick with a disease and it was she that turned down Gokudera's father's proposal because she knew she was going to die soon. According to Bianchi, Gokudera's mother had already died before slipping off from the cliff.
Gokudera did not decide to join the Mafia until after he found out about his mother's death, as he wanted revenge on his father because of this. He wandered about, with no family wanting him, until the Vongola finally agreed to let him join. He worked as a hitman for Vongola for several years, which is where he gained his title of Hurricane Bomb Hayato.

Personality

Gokudera knows how to play the piano and has an obsession with cryptozoology. At school, Gokudera is adored by many of the female classmates who view him as the "rebellious badboy."[5] However, despite his image of a rebel, Gokudera excels in his schoolwork and aces all his tests, much to the surprise of Tsuna. Still, he idolizes Tsuna greatly and considers himself to be the perfect candidate to be Tsuna's right-hand man. For this reason, Gokudera tends to regard most of Tsuna's friends as an enemy fearing they would attack him. This is most notably shown with Takeshi Yamamoto, but, along the series, he starts developing a friendly relationship with him though he tries to stay cool.
Due to a traumatic childhood experience, every time he sees the face of his older sister, Bianchi, he becomes sick, sometimes even falling unconscious.[6] He is however immune to his sister when she happens to be wearing something that covers part of her face (mainly the eyes). He has problems showing his feelings to people other than Tsuna.

Abilities

Gokudera is a dynamite specialist who uses it to either threaten or battle opponents. He was revealed to be able to conceal dynamite on his body.[7] Originally, Gokudera's main weakness was the fact that it was difficult to pinpoint and calculate the exact distance between himself and his target and sync it with the amount of time it would take for the bombs to actually explode.[8] Gokudera learned from Dr. Shamal, to use a type of Rocket Bombs. Each one, once thrown, causes the backside of the bombs to fire up and rocket towards his opponent like high-speed missiles, which then explode on impact.[8]
In the future arc of the manga, the future Gokudera created Sistema Cambio Arma Istantaneo (lit. System Change Arms InstantaneousItalian for Instantaneous Arms Rearrangement System), commonly called Sistema C.A.I.,[9] a system of box weapons that utilize the five different Dying Will Flames that flow within his body.[10] Each attribute of flame has a different effect when used with the storm-attribute rockets fired with the C.A.I.; the storm attribute causes the object or person to degenerate, the rain attribute slows and weakens enemy attacks, and the lightning attribute creates a solid laser beam. His box weapons contain a number of miscellaneous accessories used in battle; one creates a lightning disc to ride atop in battle, while two others create shields to defend against enemy attacks. He also possesses a box containing a wild cat which he named Uri. While in his natural form Uri is useless and shows no respect for Gokudera, often scratching and biting him, with Sun Flames, Uri can transform into a massive leopard.[11] Uri is later given an upgrade and now can transform into the Storm Vongola Box, G. Archery, a weapon similar to a crossbow attached to Gokudera's arm that lets him store up his energy to release in powerful flame shots.
